Back From The Dead - The Heritage Lab HB122

The ultimate surf machine. Reborn. Here are the actual details:

    • Straight tape lengths: 189cm measures 193.5cm & 179cm measures 183.5cm
    • Big, surfy, hella rockered
    • Verified weight: 189cm @ 2450g & 179cm @ 2350g
    • Updated base art to SKULLS (also by @MitchSanderArt)
    • Standard Mount: -3cm
    • Recommended mount range: -0cm to -6cm

The 179's are already sold out for the season. There are 5 pair of 189's still available on the second pressing (which ships in January).

I am so fired up on these. Really excited to hear what everyone thinks. First wave of pre-orders ships this week.

Those are sweet. I'd get rid of my Bodacious for these.

Killed all the second hand market on hellbents. Are they as floppy as I remember?

How do I know when to take these out versus all the other pow skis I own? Im thinking deep sierra cement?

So... the flex and stiffness on this ski is fascinating to be honest.

Unlike the OG EP Pro skis, which are maybe a 4/10 stiffness, these are actually maybe a 6-6.5 of 10. They hand flax VERY soft due to the amount of rocker radius at the ends of the ski, which is why they are so crazy surfy and basically invented powder nose butters. I think they will feel super surfy obviously, but still have really nice rebound and pop, unlike something softer.

KillerMonkey, freestyle-biased skiers and lighter skiers will love skiing these things in sierra cement, but I would say it'll really depend on your style.

Based on how stoked I am on how these turned out, I am already devising making two limited editions for Jan/Feb:

                - 193 FR122, so the shape and rocker of the 189 HB122 with the stiffness (~8/10 stiffness) and construction (adds about 150g) of the FR110

                - 183 BC122, so the shape and rocker of the 179 HB122 with the stiffness (~7.5/10 stiffness) and construction (bout 1900g) of the BC110

Curious for everyone's thoughts on this!

I know it would be a different mold but what about the FR122 with a flat tail, losing some taper and sending the mount point back a little bit…. Essentially recreating a bodacious but having more rocker then the original bode

The FR version sounds hilarious, I’m super excited to ski these soon!
The rocker profile looks perfect to avoid any rocking chair effect.

I’m stoked you’ve been able to sell out the 179 too!

Now that flatter tail 122 really has me very interested, in both FR and CR hopefully. The new renegade is such a disappointment so this ski needs a revival.

man, it is getting hard to not just go all Heritage with all that is seemingly in the works Marshal. So many cool skis at killer prices.
