Owning Line Blades this year has me excited for Whistler early season, when only a few non-steep, groomers are open. eg. these could make laps under Emerald Chair a blast.

btw these may likely be called “Blast” not “Blade”.

Just saw this video last night and thought of this thread. Looks fun!
Actually saw some very similar rippers at Tremblant this Spring.

These definitely look fun and intriguing. I'm guessing though that these would get way hung up in moguls though huh? I kinda want my early season and low-tide skis to be bump-fun

Heading out to ski the white ribbon at JH yesterday morning and I said to my husband, “I think I’m going to wear a down jacket because I never stay warm enough skiing groomers” and his response was “you should be skiing on blades” [emoji23]

The Blade is the love child from a 3-way between the fore mentioned SCX, Metron and the Icelandic Shaman. The ski is a hoot.

Waxed my 176cms today. Should be on them in a week or so.

Pics again for gear stoke. Pretty long, low tip rocker in pic two.

Ended up snagging these and taking them out for half a day at louise. God they are fun, haven’t been on small radius skis in a minute.

Got a pair of 181s coming. Can’t wait to get on them. Been skiing my Sakanas more than any other ski in my bloated quiver the last 2 years, and if these are anything like those are on groomers, they’re going to be a blast.

Will do. Though pretty slim chance I don’t like them.

I’m eyeing the 167cm Blade W on Corbetts for my wife ($449CDN)

Just ordered a pair for my wife. Got the 176cm since she’s tall and doesn’t like women’s skis. This will probably put her Wrenegade 88’s as a second choice on a lot of days based on what you all have been saying

I feel like I am a bit in-between their sizing on this one too. I think I would go for the 176’s too. 169 seems miniature to me

Her Wrenegade 88’s are 179’s. The front rocker made them ski shorter so were plenty manageable. She’s just after something a little lighter and more “turny” and from everything I’ve read, these fit the bill.

This is the exact reason why I bought the Blade…. Loved my 181 Sakana so much bought a backup pair…. Love big chargey skis and the Sakana puts a smile on my face every time…. No doubt the Blade will do the same…
