    What's Blizzard up to?

Over the past few weeks they've been leaking pictures of something new coming. Anyone know? Revised 15/16 freeride line or possible mid-season release? Carbon tips and tails like in the Spur?

I've heard Cochise gets carbon tips and tails like Spur, more tip rocker, and more taper in tip and tail. Not sure how that affects turn radius, but sounds interesting. Heard it from at least two reputable sources.

A slightly bigger Cochise or slightly smaller Bodacious would be amazing. Like whatever that twintip is (Gunsmoke? Peacemaker?) but not a twintip. Smoother rocker/camber lines like the Bodacious.

      Is that a D-sender?

like a katana/wrenegade/mvp blizzard! sounds interesting but not sure how they would keep the cochise and bodacious in the line up though

maybe a skinny bocadious at around 114mm, drop the bodacious and then jump to spur

Yeah, pretty much Katana or Wrenegade. *sigh* I'll just keep navel gazing.

            I'm looking forward to it.

Sounds like a good way to ruin a great ski.

They have to keep up with the ruining that Volkl did to the Mantra.

Athletes are heavily involved in testing of everything over 100mm under foot. Don't worry the new shit won't suck.... And some of it will be very very light

Making it fucking useless inbounds in variable conditions.

Sounds good to me. I poked around Instagram last night and saw some full photos from one of the team guys. Stuff looks pretty good.

when athletes are involved, gold turns to shit.
but maybe these aren't real athletes and they are just washed up racers.
and in that case, blizz could be on to something.

We'll after about 15 days on the Spur I can attest that they rock and have become my everyday ski, a Spur shrunk to bodacious width or Cochise width with two sheets of metal and carbon at the extremities is what I dream about... Blizzard didn't fuck anything up! Oh man good to hear I am still blown away at how versatile the Spur is everywhere A Spur with metal layup in bodacious and Cochise mold hell yes!!!
