So, will we see Hoji ski the Khion or the Vulcan??? Fanboyz will make purchase decisions accordingly.

Imvho, the metallic rear spoiler of the khion works very well, along with several subtle stiffening points scattered in the whole boots.Comment

Any chance of the new staff spec'ing their boots with liners we can use cuz if my feet would fit a Maestrale RS with intuition at 699 there is no fucking way I would have paid 799+ for a dynafit & then need to spend more $ for intuitions ?Lee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I knowComment

Are you saying that the Vulcan is wider than the Spectre and the TLT6 is even wider or am I reading you wrong?
I felt that the exact opposite was true..."Your wife being mad is temporary, but pow turns do not get unmade" - mallwalker the wiseComment

Yeah, I'm a bit confused by that as well. Speaking as someone with a wide midfoot, normal front width, TLT6 is very narrow, Maestrale is medium-ish. Haven't tried on Spectre/Vulcan, but everything I've read is they're Maestrale+ width.Comment

Fir what I've seen, the liners are no more made by palau. There is written "made in italy" so no palau and no intuition. In the proto I have, the liners have a low volume. Dunno whether the final production will be the same.Comment

I report what my foot tells me after one week in the khion, years in maestrale and freedom and months in the tlt6 and few hours in the (first gen) spectre which was simply too painful.
Every foot is different. Mine is particularly nasty. The forefront of the tlt6 feels a bit wider than the vulcan to me, but, again, it might be because of the shape of my foot.Comment

I found the Vulcan to be plenty wide for my D+ foot, but the instep killed that boot for me. I got a pair of TLT6's and they fit like a charm after baking the liners and they are roomy in the toe box, but that is fine for me if I'm going to be in my boots for 8 hours.I report what my foot tells me after one week in the khion, years in maestrale and freedom and months in the tlt6 and few hours in the (first gen) spectre which was simply too painful.

http://www.evo.com/outlet/skis/nordi...used-2007.aspx yeah way back in the day. It was the best 100mm under foot crud buster that I ever tried of its day. It basically did not float in powder though. I had a pair along with a pair of 183 and 190 Gotama. The forgiving tail may help, spanker tails often make people hate a ski, but I seem to recall the old Enforcer not being spanky, it was harassed for just being too darned wide. Also, at the time, and probably still today to a certain extent, Nordica is invisible to many. Sorta like Fischer.
Was it a twin tip ever? I only recall the flat tail/micro turn-up tail.Comment

What about the ROM? 60 degrees? 74 to compete with the atomic offering?
Did the new tlt6 get lighter or a larger ROM?wait!!!! waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait...Wait!

Detailed Khion vs Vulcan comparos will be very interesting. Can anyone (verbier) speak to the fwd lean and flex progression of the Khion?
PS. I'm really surprised at how many people are saying the Vulcan is narrower than the TLT6. Maybe I need to give that boot a shot. I just couldn't get the TLT5 to fit me in width or instep so I pretty much wrote off the TLT6."Alpine rock and steep, deep powder are what I seek, and I will always find solace there." - Bean Bowers
