My thoughts as well. My 190 Rubys, with practically the same measurements, end up with a 27m radius, and for my taste, they're just on the right side of turny.not counting days 2016-17Comment

The 120s have a long turn radius, but they have a real pronounced pintail design. Personally I didnt care for the 120s at all when I tried them. That is why this new one intrigues me since it should rail a turn on hard snow a bit more than the 120s. Just my $.02 anyway...."I dont hike.... my legs are too heavy"Comment

That 112RP fills the gap nicely between the Wailer and the Lotus. If stiffer than an S7, that's going to be a potentially HUGE ski for places like Whistler where the S7 dominates even though most local riders find it too soft. Voila ..Comment

Boner inducing
Didn't get but a few runs on em in marginal conditions but pretty much hit a homerun w/ these.
Damn glad to meet ya Marshall sorry had to bail and didn't get a chance to ski with ya more.
Doing all I can to get a pair of these w/ demo clamps here in the Wasatch for further testing"When the child was a child it waited patiently for the first snow and it still does"- Van "The Man" Morrison

"THIS IS WHAT WE DO"-AML -ski on in eternal peace

The RP won't make it to the demotour crew in time for the WA demos but it'll definitely be at Riders Weekend (along with another 30 pairs of DPS Skis mounted up for free demos.) More info re: Riders Weekend: http://bit.ly/c8FoAt.
I got to rip some laps on the RPs over the last couple of days...all I can say is that you have to try it for yourself. Incredible ski.Comment

indeed, that is the RP above.
It's the center point of your quiver.
The sidecut is great on that shape. It actually makes it really fun at the resort- not the typical mandatory slide-fest that wider, straighter, wider shapes are. You can hook this ski up and ride the sidecut and actually pull g's and round clean carves on the groomed- and at 112 underfoot there is no bootout.
While dynamic and HP while on edge, the Wailer 112 RP is also very friendly when off edge, and the sidecut isn't a hindrance. With the rocker design providing a loose tail, it is incredibly balanced and slides beautifully- massive powerslides are easy and very controlled- going sideways at 30 mph isn't a battle of fore/aft balance, rather a stable ride on the ball of your foot... It's the best of both worlds in that sense.Comment

they all have their place... the 112 is certainly not a 120 replacement or vice versa- it all depends what you want out of a shape.Comment
