    Multi-impact helmets

I'm looking for a new helmet this season, and in the past I've always tried to find one that's good for multiple impacts (i.e. non-EPS foam liner.) Seems like these are pretty rare these days as I'm only finding a few race helmets, the POC Auric, and the Giro Spherical MIPS models all having multi-impact EPP foam liners.

Race helmets aren't for me, and I have personal reasons not to buy anything from Giro. Is the POC Auric the only other multi-impact model left on the market?

Not sure if Bern still makes the helmets with Brock foam or not, but I had a couple I wore for years.

back in the day I took a header off a Moto X bike, the front knobby tire went up over my back to leave a big black knobby print over the top of the helmet and drive the mouth piece into the sawdust trail,. on inspection after 2 days in hospitol my back/ neck/ shoulders were pretty fucked up for many years but NO visible injury, I found all the crushable foam in the mouth piece area had crushed from 1 " to 1/2" but no dental damage and so i never for one second wished it wasn't crushed, so I kept using that helmet cuz broke H/S kid

Is there a reason you want a multi-impact helmet? As far as i am aware, the general consensus is that the single impact helmets offer superior protection. With how concussions can affect your job, relationships, etc, i have trouble finding a reason to not go with the most protective helmet possible. Is there new tech with multi-impact helmets that show its as safe or more safe than the single impact models?
