    FS: '07 Volkl Gotama with Fritschi Freeride + and Skins

    Hey everyone,

    I've got a pair of 176 Volkl Gotama's from last year mounted with Fritschi Freeride + and a pair of Black Diamond Ascension STS skins.

    The Volkl Gotama has been in Freeskier's Editor's Quiver for who knows how many years now, and they stinkin' rock! I got these last season and put maybe 15 days on them. They are great and I'm getting a new pair, just want to get the next size longer. The bases are in great shape, a scratch here and there, but no core shots or anything. I filled in the only two that were deep enough with black p-tex because it looks sweet on the red base Topsheets are about the same, scratch here and there, nothing major. I do have my name on them, but I'm trying to get that off. Here's the Volkl Website page for them from last year:

    The Fritschi Freeride + bindings are great, nothing more than a cosmetic scratch here and there. I would keep them, but figured it'd be easier to sell the whole package at once. They go to a DIN of 12 and are totally bomber. Here's the link to them on the Black Diamond website: http://www.bdel.com/gear/freeride.php

    The skins are brand new BD Ascension STS skins, 120mm wide and trimmed to fit ... i never actually got a chance to use them, but they fit the skis so they're going with them. They have the cheat sheets and the storage bag with them. Here is the link to them on the Black Diamond website: http://www.bdel.com/gear/sts.php

    Here are the pics, if you want to see some more, I can send you them

    I'm thinking $800 for the whole setup, but I'm willing to negotiate on that. Retail for the setup is right about $1400.

    As always, I will have them fully tuned before I ship them.

    Let me know if you're interested or want more pics, and thanks for looking!

        How do you think they would look with this jacket?

            I'm pretty sure Superstar Punani has that phone number..... He should be along soon to post it.

              First, that price is way too high for these parts.
              None of us here pay retail, maybe except Fabrizio, for skis.
              If you want to sell them here, think more like $500.

              And dont give us that as always bullshit.
              How the hell do we know what you do as always.
              You have 2 freaking posts.

                    To small for me but honestly it's not that bad of a deal. Maybe 700 would be a better deal but he says that he is willing to negotiate.
                    450 skis
                    250 freerides
                    100 skins

                      Considering you can get new versions of all 3 if you look hard enough for that price (or near to it), a used pair with multiple p-tex repairs=not that great a deal.

                        beleive it or not, my advice is helpful to this guy selling skis on THIS website.
                        im not stopping him from asking 800$ on ebay, and Im not stopping him from asking 800$ here, Im just pointing out that its not the most effective way to start trying to sell you skis on THIS website, because;

                        1. price is too high
                        2. he has 2 posts
                        3. he has not read the forum guidelines or just blatantly disregarded them if he has read them

                        Price break down;
                        New 06/07 176 Gotamas can be easily found for $500 if not less.
                        Being the fact that they are;
                        1- a year old (-50% to a price of 250)
                        2- drilled once (-10% to a price of 225)
                        3- have ptex repairs (-10% to a price of 200)
                        4- are a somewhat undersirable size (-10% if you want to be picky)

                        250-300$ would be a more accurate price for the skis on THIS website.
                        (and actually still above the "suggested" pricing guidelines in the sticky)

                        Bindings
                        You can get brand new NX21 or FRs for 250 if you look around without too much trouble. You can buy used ones for 200 very easily as well.

                        Skins seem to keep their price, and 75-100 would probably be a fair price.

                        add that all up and you get ~500$.

                        so hey, why dont you stop being an idiot as well.

                            luck has nothing to do with it (and i did say 250-300)

                            those are 190s and deservingly worth more and possibly also more desirably because they are the previous model with Less sidecut.

                            a similar setup for sale in a past thread, and the same comment about price was made.

                            183 gotamas with less use, with skins and freerides for less than I suggested.
                            (hell of a deal, i know)

                            176s priced at 350$ hand delivered, flat, and in similar condition

                            183s with 15 days for 350.

                            http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...hlight=gotamas
                            190s in similar condish with 14Dins used for 10days for $450.
                            more desirable shape and length here.

                            http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...hlight=gotamas
                            183s for 350.

                            so perhaps me saying 250 was a bit low, but the upper end of my range, of 300$, I still say is fair. The market seems to stand up to about 350 for these skis despite their shorter length.

                              I'd say $300 for the skis is fair seeing as how they're drilled, and have had work done. 176 isn't going to be that popular a size round these parts however....

                              The demand for FR's is going to be less due to the upswing in demand for dynafits/nx 21's/dukes, so I'd say $225 used, considering I got $185 for a pair of white/red FR's a couple weeks back

                              Skins are the tricky part since they're trimmed and part of the package I'd say they're worth $100 maybe less

                              I'd say between $575-$650 is a pretty solid price for the package round these parts. If you want $800, you're going to have to go to e-bay/craigslist
                              For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
