Just tape the skis together and wrap with cardboard and tape well.

Yes. This is the way.
I have ski boxes because of my addiction. But when you flat wrap them it actually costs less.
You get charged more for girth.
Cardboard between skis. Then ghetto wrap and tape.

The only reason for a box is if the skis have bindings. And even then you can bubble wrap the bindings and ghetto cardboard over that.Kill all the telemarkers

reminds me of the first pair of skis I shipped myself years ago, used 4 random boxes and a lot of tape, came out looking like I was shipping a barrett 50 cal.Comment
