    FS 2016 Praxis Piste Jib

    Hey,

I built up a pair of Praxis Piste Jibs last fall and these are really cool, snappy skis but for whatever reason they just didn't click with the way I ski so I need to move them on to fund a new AT ski.

    184cm
    Standard, #3 flex
    MAP core
    Birds Eye Maple veneer
    Arctic One topsheet

I've skied these approximately 6-7 days - and most of those were days where I swapped the skis out mid day so not much time on them at all.

I'm 5'9", 170lbs 39 yo. Been skiing for 36 years and ex GS and SG racer. I'm not a charger or jibber but do ski fast and tight so my top edges tend to get scuffed up. No core shots, base, or edge damage / wear

    No drops, jumps or cliffs.

Mounted once for Kingpins on the line for a 27.5 BSL

Had a high-end, $60 ceramic race tune done on edges

    Asking $375

    Thanks!

S-D. I've never owed a pair of wood veneer skis but that's a lot of wear for a ski used 3 full days
I am interested though I will pm you

          Hey Yellowfin + Alpy,

yeah definitely putting more wear on my top sheet edges as I work on a more new school / pivot-y style.

I was able to snag a pair of the 2018 Blizzard Rustler 10s the end of January and haven't skied the Piste since. I've attached a couple pics of my Blizzards so you can see it's a universal problem with my skis now

And I specifically put close up shots of the edge wear so as to be transparent about the condition

            Huh, new school/pivot-y?

LOL, does that not make sense? As in slarvy and pivoty turns.

Jesus you fucked those things up. I want to see some video of this sweet "pivoty" style you use. It ruins gear from what I can see. Ex gs racers can usually turn without hammering their feet together.

                          Damn, tough crowd here.

I never said I was good at slarving and pivoty turns. But hey, fuck me for trying something new right?

The whole reason why I'm selling the PJs is because I'm just not a jibby skier but I'll still try to slarve and butter when I can. I could really care less if it dings up my gear, I'm having fun even if I eat shit or look like a jerry.
