I'd rather do sports than watch sports but I did get invited to watch the game. I'd like to apologize to the 11th province for the win last night.

You know Washington, Oregon, and northern California would be happy to join Canada. How do we get an invite?

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

My wife and I would move there in a second if we could, but the system is definitely designed to give precedence to those who will be emigrating and working in BC. We'd be moving there to retire and they aren't really interested in freeloaders like us.

We haven't actually tried to apply for permanent residency, but just looking at the points system we'd be borderline do to our age.

That said, you can live in BC up to six months per year without residency, so that's also an option, but at this point I want to get off this sinking ship.

Le sigh. Only bordering province to VT is Quebec. It would work for them because the maple syrup cartel could then control the best syrup in the world. I don't speak quebecquois so it's not great for me. Maybe new England as a whole could become part of New Brunswick, especially now that Blaine Higgs is not the premier of Irving-land.
