2024-2025 NBA thread: who wants to buy a Duck Boat?!?!

Reigning champion Celtic's D White 'bought' a duck boat. Can he buy another one in 2025??? Will he have to sell it???

          Congrats Cs.

Go Nuggs. Or more specifically, go Murray’s health.

            Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans.

I love this time of year in the NBA.

They need Tillman as long as they have KP and Big Al. They need to develop him. And that's the issue. They have amassed so much talent that at some point they can't afford it, so some of the talent will leave. Unless they can win a whole bunch of rings like the Warriors. That gets people to stay. But not necessarily a 25 year old "vet"?

Celtics will pay XT to stay so long as he is fine with playing time and the city. Playing time or family considerations may have him looking at other options.

Right, but the issue is luxury tax, right? Unless he's making vet minimum which doesn't count towards cap, right? So how much including tax are they willing to pay?

That was a great trade for New Orleans. Feels like Atlanta sold low on Murray.

The only salary that doesn’t count towards the cap is that of second rounders signed to an NBA contract. Tillman will receive more than the minimum. Not sure if Kornet will.

Yeah, more weirdness with the new CBA. High second round picks may actually have more value than late first rounders - at least for certain teams.

Y'all better watch out for the Zers next year. You might trip over them on your way to the dump.
