yeah, that is dominant. that said, part of what made Mariano the GOAT is that his dominance just went on and on. Pitching lights out until he was 43.

Speaking of great Yankees and those chasing them, I thought this was pretty cool. I obviously see Clase pitch a lot more than anyone else here, but the level of dominance from this guy is just insane.

This week he saved 4 games in a row, something that hasn't been done in a CLE uniform since Jose fucking Mesa in 1997.

Pretty damn good. Still nothing quite like those 3 peak Eric Gagne years, but Clase probably isn’t injecting bull semen daily either.

He might have been a huge cheater but i appreciate Eric Gagne as well. What can you say, he was a product of the time just as much as Clemens or Bonds. Also, the French-Canadians that get into baseball are super passionate about it and he kinda brought that to the bigs while also being probably the best player born in Quebec before Vlad decided to raise a family here?

Another day another blown Dodgers lead. The most frustrating team I’ve watched in close to a decade.

So I was at Fenway last night for a group work thing & the 2018 banner got me telling people where I was for game one of that awesome series & just how good that 2018 team was. They dominated all season and crushed really good Yankees. Astros & Dodgers teams.

That got me talking about how good the 2018 Dodgers were & they weren't as good as they were in 2017.
Which if course leads to the reason everyone knows that the 2017 Dodgers didn't win the world series that year & has never really been addressed.

3,431 at bats (Ruth, 3,831 ABs): 400 ABs faster than the Babe

                That's pretty fucking incredible.
How many of the babe’s 400 came while he was still a pitcher though?

I loved that team. And I got to see a lot of games with my dad that summer before he passed away after they won the series. That season will always mean the most to me.

That is truly special. Happy for you both that you got that.

My Dad and I went to the ‘95 and ‘97 World Series together, were a part of countless games during the 455 straight sellout streak, but never saw a Championship Pennant hung. I’ll always hate that. I was there in 2016 when the Tribe lost the Series in Game 7 and I hope to be there with my son when they do win it all.

I’ll be thinking of my Dad the entire time of course and wishing he was there to celebrate with us.

This is what they mean when people say baseball is special.

                          Motherfucking motherfuckers.

Now Austin Riley is done for the regular season after taking a 97 mph pitch off his wrist last night.

The Braves have been decimated by injuries this season.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

                            They really have.

This season is becoming a battle of attrition for many teams right now.

Going to be the March of Dimes BB team VS the Shriner's Hospital 9 for the WS.

160+ games is a long season and most nights any one of these guys will go all out to make a play.

Urshela plays really hard, if he can find his way at the plate even a bit I think Atlanta fans will enjoy having him around way more than, say, Josh Donaldson.
