Sadness and rage are both endemic to Buffalo sports fans.

And being Upstate NYers, they have no problem letting it come out the mouths for all to hear.

I will say that I had a much better time at this one than against Buffalo. Sabres fans around me were maybe the worst fans I’ve ever seen. They spent the whole night booing and talking shit about Eichel like he didn’t just win a cup his first full year out of Buffalo, then celebrated like they won three cup when they beat the Knights. Some real loser energy from them. Lol.
That’s a bummer. I just don’t get why some Buffalo fans are so down on him. He was literally a kid when he arrived in buffalo, and the team absolutely sucked (hence the draft pick). The expectation that he would single-handedly turn the team around and deliver a sc was ridiculous. Maybe he didn’t handle some things perfectly, but again, he was just a kid.

I got to see him last year and he looked special. I’m so glad he got out and won a cup. He arguably could have been named playoff mvp.

And then there was Dominic Hasek--another Saber who had to leave to get his cup.

Speaking of Buffalo--Aikman compared someone to Thurman Thomas last night, I don't think it was because the guy lost his helmet, but it might have been. (And in which of the 4 in a row superbowls the bills lost did that happen?)

And don't get Sabres fans started on the Brett Hull 'no goal' loss to the Stars in triple overtime in Game 6 of the '99 Cup Finals.

The Stanley Cup Makes Surprise Appearance At One Of Montana's Iconic Ski Resorts

What happens in Vegas... goes skiing in Montana.

The Stanley Cup is arguably one of the greatest trophies in sports- How many trophies have their own personal caretaker? The Cup is a celebrity in its own right.

In one of the cooler things to happen this year, The Cup made a surprise appearance at Whitefish Mountain Resort, MT on Friday, December 29th.

An easier link to the photos from the resort. The photos from up at the summit are pretty cool.

Did Vegas borrow their 3 intermission analysts from the rodeo?
                      2/3 wearing cowboy hats? Really?

Looked like a good game. But those vegas uniforms were hideous.

McDavid winning a million dollars last night, then costing his team a million by turning it over is peak McDavid.

Nice little streak there Edmonton. Would be a shame if someone ruined it.
