Fir fuck sake.
the mudwest starts somewheres between schenectady ny and the mississippi river.
But then again, n and s dakota are definitely in the midwest.
Except fir the black hills.
and far eastern montana is still midwest.
And eastern Wyoming.
And eastern Co fir sure really.
Then again mid central WA is flat as fuck so mebbe there too. Goddam wheat fields n basalt.

I’m not an expert on the Midwest but I do recall seeing a map of regional accents that included WNY in the upper Midwest linguistic group so I guess you can have Buffalo at least. Good luck with ‘emLast edited by Brownski; 11-26-2025, 09:15 PM.Comment

My brother lived in Columbus, OH for 6 years. He said it was the most boring place he'd ever lived (he's lived in more places than me and that's saying something). He thought Kansas City was hopping compared to OH-IOComment

When you're driving west to east from CA, the midwest begins when you start to hear CCR or The Eagles on the radio. I haven't driven east of WI, but my guess is the midwest ends when you begin to see descent mom/pop pizza restaurants. It's like the movie Tron, but it's skiing through a forest.Comment

So just for shits and giggles I googled Troll(fuckin)haugen. Because, well I'm moving across the country to be closer to grandkids and help my son. Turns out your hill is only 9 hours from where I'll be (Sioux Lookout). Where I live now, a 9 hour drive doesn't even get me to Jasper. I may just ski with Harry one day after all.
