The quote button functions both as single and multi-quote. So the first time you click it to add a quote, it should scroll you down to the reply box and auto-magically insert the quote. If it doesn't do that and only turns orange, that means you already have a post quoted and need to "clear" it from memory. This is a left-over bug from when every time one posted you'd get an error message, the quotes weren't being cleared. Anyways, the way to tell if you have a post in multi-quote is to scroll up to the top and look for the blue button that says "Post Reply" on it. If there's a number in there, then you have a post in multi-quote. To clear it, click that button! It should auto-scroll you to the reply window and insert however many posts you have quoted. Next: if you want to actually quote that post, then just do your thing and reply to it, click the post reply button below the reply window, and viola it should clear the quoted posts once you're reply is saved. If you don't want to quote that post, then click the CANCEL button! You'll get a popup asking if you're sure, click yes, and viola anything saved into multi quote should be cleared and the Quote button should work normally for you.

Edit to add: this ain't a bug, near as I can tell. It's just a shitty way of doing multi-quote. It'd be nice if there was some plugin for vBulletin that made this better, but I'm not holding my breath that whoever's doing the web dev on this project is going to try and find it.
The older I get, the faster I was.

      Punch it, Chewie.

      Damn he seems cool.

Thank you for those steps and explanation. I still say it is a bug as I followed your directions step by step and here is what I had and showed.

OK, so the Post Reply button on the upper left did not have any number on it at all- just the button itself as you stated in blue. But I did in fact click on it even though it had nothing like you described, and then back out and did not do any post reply, just returned to the thread and cancelled.

After that that I just went back into the last page of this where you replied. I then tried the same step of clicking on the "Quote box again and it in fact did quote as you can see above. Still not sure how you do multi quote with this method.

So each thread should have a Post Reply within it, and if I have never quoted a comment, then I should be able to use the "Quote button, I will watch for the Post Reply and see if any regularly visited threads have said number.

Is there any way to change the default font size. I can do it the usual way when writing posts. I'm talking about the size of the print of everybody else's posts.
It does seem that using zoom in the Chrome settings works pretty well but I'd rather change it forum settings if there are any.

Are the mods getting any updates at all on what the people working on the forum sw are doing or planning?

                  Short answer: no, not really.

Longer answer: we spoon feed them the most critical things a few at a time, and then they eventually address those.

The whole layout gobbles space. I'm pretty sure there used to be 15 plus threads on the front page, now there are six or something. It's super irritating to have to go to the second and third page to see relatively high traffic threads.

Everything in the interface that's not user generated text seems to take up way more space than it used to.

don't think anyone else is having the issue but it appears the certificate authority is untrusted by fort knox corporate networks? Chrome at work throws the invalid cert authority and then when i click proceed anyway I am met with this page, which I believe is from our firewall or other security device in our network.

I have a pretty locked down network and had no issues.

I've been using Tapatalk on mobile, but today it wasn't working. So I went to Chrome, and while refreshing the forum, Chrome asked me if I wanted to install a TGR app. I said yes and now seem to have a new TGR app? That looks just like chrome did?

Looks like we got our first spam since the relaunch (kind of like the first tulips in the spring). I don't see a "report spam" button now, am I missing it?
