Yeah, WVA has been a disappointment
Will see if Vingo has staying power, if Roglic can stay off the floor, and if Evenapoel and Pogi can avoid a bad day

Damn, he stopped to kiss his wife, then ride like that for a couple of minutes,
And still only finished 3 min off Evenapoel’s time

Lol. I spent credits to put him on the team yesterday& then last second before bed, swapped him to my leader for the day…from Girmay
                Oof!

Stage 9. The gravel stage. Different.

The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.

Riders and commentators can complain that gravel/ cobbles should not be in the tour, but that was an exciting stage to watch.

Yeah, that didn't play out like I expected, but I guess the leaders figured sitting in was too dangerous for their time and body.
Great stage though, and it will help sell some gravel bikes too.

Yeah, it is exciting, but I’m guessing the GC contenders aren’t wild about the risk of some random flat or mechanical costing them the mellow johnny.

Witness Vingo today - he would have been in a world of shit if he had to trade bikes with WVA rather than Tratnik.

I wish there was more of that old school stuff in the race. Make them do one of the mountain passes on a dirt fire road (and self supported)

Great idea - how old school do you want to get?

No team cars or neutral support? Carry all the food/water you need for the day at the start? Along with a couple of spare tires and a pump?

There was a guy in an early edition of the tour that got disqualified because while he was using a blacksmith’s forge to repair a broken fork, the blacksmith operated the bellows.

Nice one today @Dee Hubbs. I went all in on MVG for the win and he was up there for a bit but couldn't hang. Lots of racing happening on that stage and it was hard to look away.

Really cool to see Bini on the podium again yesterday even though it cost me...I enjoyed my time in yellow, but kind of like Richie Carapaz, it was on borrowed time.

Is Jasper washed??? I don't think so, but I guess he isn't done eating humble pie just yet.
