I’ve been listening to/watching The Move for a few years now. I really like the analysis by Lance, George, JB and Bruyneel. They also have had some good discussions in the past about riding in the Aspen area, which is interesting.

Exciting finish today for sure!! Wow.

Pedersen still shows up on my roster

Speaking of no-shows, what’s up with vanAert? Guy has been MIA since he hit the deck on stage two. Didn’t look like that bad a crash to me

I used to listen to themove for about 3-4 yrs but found recently, other than Johan, it was getting really behind the times. mostly they would reminisce about that climb or that finish when him and george were doing it. (some of these memories are quarter-of-a century old...) then alot of boomer-esque conversations that werent very insightful to the race. i am a lance fan but the podcast has lost me.

(LanternRouge has to be the go-to; he may not have raced but knows so much hes been hired by teams like Visma for analysis. not bad from an armchair manager lawyer!)

holyyyy shiett tho cant believe cav did it. was impressed by his sprint (also whats up with jasper). was a gritty run in and he found the space he needed. cool to see.

i do feel like hes been a hot-and-cold sprinter in the past so maybe hell be able to capitalize on this confidence. will see how the betting lines will change lol.

RIP to everyone who benched Groenewegen last night! I think we all knew he was gonna get one this year but placed our bets elsewhere today... Did anyone start him?

Kat5 ditched him last night, I kept him, had him as my Team Captain when I went to bed.
Woke up at 5am to check on Mads Pederson news, and changed Groenewegen to Cavendish in my 5am pre coffee haze.

Nice to finally see a Philipsen relegation but it's not doing my fantasy team any favors

^^^Heh, I thought I was the only one who saw Philipsen hook van Aert today.

Anybody watch Unchained Season 2 - the documentary of last years TdF. There were a bunch of riders bitching about Philipsen’s tactics.

I had vanAert for my captain today

Ah, that's painful. I had Jasper and felt pretty good about that until I saw the relegation, then I re-watched the finish and am fully on board with it. He's been served a few slices of humble pie since his last TDF stage win--hopefully he's had his fill at this point.

I guessed 29:56 in the end. I thought “nah, 29:30 is too fast” & hedged it higher when I plugged it in

These last four are on fire!

I put 52km/h average in my formula to calculate a guess of 00:29:29.
                              Remco averaged 52.5866 km/hr for 00:28:52.
                              Good for 83 points.

The fear of Evenepoel is real for the last day…Visma & UAE are going to see if they can make him hurt in the hills. Thus far, he has shown he can bridge up after not having the fire to cover a move immediately. But no teammates to help him. And he may burn his matches chasing hard over the next couple weeks.
Vingo seems to be mostly there. WVA has not recovered to high end shape tho.
Roglic produced today — but still not solid in the GC prospects…maybe he’ll be more of a sleeper & rise slowly?
