    WTB: Waterproof Biking Pants

This fall I've been able to get out biking way more than in the past, and I think I finally have to accept that I should buy some proper gear for the wet pnw weather. I'm still too cheap to buy new, so I'm wondering if anyone is looking to offload some waterproof biking pants? Local in the pnw would be ideal!

I hear great things, think they'll ship to US, price is right
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

          fuck that noise.

          gmen.

Personally, I would rather wear a wool base layer and just get wet.

Buy the cheapest waterproof pants on Amazon - cut them into shorts - pull them over your regular riding gear - eventually like all membrane clothing it will be too dirty and trashed to work. Then just start over.

A pair of waterproof socks in your shoes keeps your toes dry and warm.

I have both the fox 3layer pant and the tld resist pant. I swear by the tld resist. The big vents, w mesh are the game changer. The vents have waterproof zips to close them and the vents add a lot of versatility. If i go out and it stops raining, or hasnt started yet or the rain forecasted doesnt happen or a big climb in the warmth they arent glorified garbage bags. Nice cut/fit, sufficiently deep pockets w mesh for further venting, and good stretch. I like the key pocket too.Still on sale too. Mine were 119cad. i see they went up a bit but cheaper than most brands regular pants
