just saw your post about the ankle/foot surgery. sorry to hear about that man, it sucks... my surgery lasted 3-4 hrs I think, but they had to do a little work on some ligs and clean out a lot of busted up cartalidge (spelling???) but you'll prob be under for 2-4hrs id guess. they gave me the option of getting a spinal or the full go-to-sleep, since I dont like to hear power tools on my body, I went for the full knock out! I cant imagine being awake for it even if I couldnt feel it. recovery wasnt too bad, tell them you want a nerve cathider (spelling???) that gives you constant numbing meds to that leg. that was the best fuggin machine in the world. it give you a constand dose of meds to only that leg, my machine lasted for 4 days before it ran dry, it has a little button on it as well, the push to make the pain stop button.

good luck!!! my cast comes off in 2.5 more weeks... cant wait to get back out there...
