Figures, since I wrote a long response! LOL Scott and I will be at Jay on Saturday. They are planning to open Jet and possibly Haynes, as well as Chalet Meadows and possibly Raccoon Run for beginners. So, not much open, although Stowe is only planning to open 3 runs as well. Most of the natural snow melted during that warm spate of weather. However, they are making snow like crazy, they've gotten 6" in the past 2 days, and it's been snowing all day (sometimes flurries, sometimes coming down hard). The natural snow is fluffy since it's in the low 20s. I just came back from Enosburg and you can't even see the mountain, it's wrapped in a cloud. (It's been snowing at our house all day but not much accumulation, just enough to make everything look white.) It seems like a long drive for only 2 trails, but you could always keep an eye on Jay's site to see if they get enough snow to open other terrain. I should think it will be pretty busy--tons of skiers have been hiking for their turns over the past few days in anticipation--but I suppose it probably won't be as busy as the southern resorts.
It was deleted:/
Hey, did you read the PM response I sent you this morning, or did the damn thing get deleted before you saw it? Susan
