Avalanche Awareness Lecture
Enjoy and exciting evening presentation covering the awesome phenomenon of snow avalanches. Aaron Johnson with Mountain Adventure Seminars (MAS) will lead a 2 hour multi-media presentation at Marmot Mountain Works in Berkeley. The evening will include subjects such as the formation and factors leading to the creation of avalanches and how to avoid them on you winter backcountry excursions. Lecture starts at 6:30 PM and cost $20 (Free for those 15 years old or younger).
