I first visited this spot 5 or 6 years ago but it hadn't become an official trail system until last summer.

That stuff looks super fun, and holy crap is it beautiful around there. I'm hoping to spend some time in StG in March/April, I'll definitely try to make it over there for a day!

The trail system itself is decent but I wouldn't go out of my way from St George just for that. The free riding is really fun. Worth it if you and your riding partners that want to push and scare yourselves on the steep slick rock lines. I wouldn't go ride there on my own personally. The fun stuff is seriously scary and those lines are on a whole different scale then anywhere else I've been. It takes me a good long minute to process the terrain and "sort of" get comfortable in it.

Quick overnighter recently scouting a new bikepacking route in the desert. Found some good stuff and some not so good stuff. Also found some (questionable) water sources. And some abandoned boats, curious given the lack of water.

That’s cool ^. So you just strap your tent on the handle bars and some gear in a backpack?

Given nice temps no tent, just ground sheet, sleeping pad, sleeping bag and puffy jacket. Food and whatever else in frame bag and hydration pack. One nighters are pretty easy to pack for.

From what I've heard, Kokopelli and 18 Rd both are mostly dry. Lower stuff at LL as well.

I was up at 8000’ yesterday outside of Boulder and anything not north-facing was totally dry. Doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon either.

4to5” of blower over a nice groomed base is sublime !

Rudy at 12.5 only runs a couple of miles. Rocky’s full of energy at 20 months and can easily run 20.
Trail dogs want to run everyday and it’s tuff getting him the miles on a powder day, hence the FATe.
