Kendrick VS Drake
I wasn’t really following this until I heard Kendrick’s latest. Holy shit, he murdered Drake in this. I need to get the popcorn to see Drake’s response (if any).

I'm loving this.
J Cole made a good move by bowing out, although I really liked his contribution.

I need to go back and review this beef. I think they’re stupid and mostly for publicity but this last one attacking Drake’s entire family lineage and calling him a pedafile is great.

Drake’s “Family Matters” response was great.
But then Kendrick replying 30min later and putting Drake’s ozempic box on the cover is just nasty. He had that bullet loaded.

Kendrick VS Drake
Ha the cool kid is here to pretend he doesn’t know who the biggest rap artist (and Pulitzer Prize winner) and the biggest pop artist in North America over the last 10 years are. Sure sure.
Still playing that hipster “I don’t like things that are popular” card for cred? That transparent shit was getting old 10 years ago lol

You’re a fucking idiot. I’m not cool, I don’t watch broadcast TV listen, to commercial radio and this is my only social media. It’s nothing to do with being cool or hip.
Is it so hard to believe that people don’t consume the same media as you do? Moran

It’s actually an honest question on my part. I see a thread with these names, I thought maybe UFC match up or something. Open the thread and I’m like, who the fuck are these people? It’s ignorance on my part not some air that I’m putting on.

Hmmmmm.....Saying Kendrik is unimportant is like saying someone like Thom York, Jimmy Page, John Lennon, Willie Nelson, etc are not important. I think everyone mostly agrees Drake is fun throwaway music (I hate it) and probably yes unimportant in big scheme of life.

despite being at least aware of their names, +1 on not having any idea what their cultural reference is

Kendrick is to Gen. Z, as Dylan is to Boomer, and this is Positively 4th Street.

IDK I know quite a few 25-30 year old, who really admire him. For What It’s Worth I think that 11-15 year old kids are very much influenced by music. That stuff with Kendrick and Tupac had a big effect on a lot of 14 year olds

kendrick is definitely of my generation. i was young but distinctly remember maad city dropping. that was the shit. but he isn't a voice for our generation like dylan was for yours. maybe he and cole will be in hindsight but not now.
swing your fucking sword.

Sure Gen Zers like him too but it's mathematically impossible for him to be considered just Gen Z, he came of age thanks to millennials.
It wasn't a just bunch of 14 year old Gen Zers listening to Madd city that made him popular, that makes zero sense.
