I'm definitely a sunglass collector. Way too many pairs, mostly not cheap, but we buy these now and then for the beach - wayfarer style, which is my daily driver shape. About $15.

Cheap Sunglases
The thing I always worry about with these really cheap sunglasses is: are they really keeping the damaging rays out? With all the high altitude sun in Colorado, you can’t fuck around here.

Check out Zenni. They are my go to for prescription sunglasses now. Come in at about $60-70ish for frames and polarized gray/green/amber lenses. I don't like mirrored but that is available too.
I didn't like the amber. The effect made everything look like the apocalypse or you were in an episode of "some cartel show being filmed in Mexico"

Cheap polarized glasses are just terrible. I you think Goodr's (or similar) are ok you should probably get your vision checked. Non-polarized Tifosis for about 25 bucks are solid.

Zenni works great for cheap sunglasses, but the prices add up if you start adding features.
Polarization plus a mirror flash and you are already adding $64 to the price (which would buy you 2 pairs of Goodr plus some beer). Double that if you need a high prescription.
Also I've noticed that some combos of the mirror flash really mess with your color perception. I think the higher end brands tweak the tint of the underlying lens to balance this out, but zenni likely uses the same base tint. You don't need a mirror flash, but I also found their base non-mirror lens to not be quite dark enough and the mirror seems to help with that.
Otherwise, as long as you avoid the crappiest frames (check the reviews--price isn't always a perfect identifier), the quality on them is good, and you can still get a ton of RX options for <$100 (or <50 if you don't want polarization).

Assuming you actuly wana see anything new frame/ Progressives/ astignatism is usually closer to 1K, fortunately the HC pays for them
I buy the wayfarers cuz they are a really nice frame made in italy and actualy not that expensive compard to rgular eyeglass frames
the Mega wayfarers are even more Roy Orbanish, really big temple pieces and the hinges are double the size of the hinge in a regular wayfarerLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

Tifosi glasses are the shit. $25 for a pair of everyday glasses, $80 for riding glasses with a hard case with 3 lenses.

I feel like I'm done with mirrored sunglasses. The cheapo polarized Goodr ones are fine aside from the mirror film getting scratched and then you'll need to toss the whole thing which feels wasteful.
Sunskis were like that too except my frames also would break, not the worst as they'd send you store credit even years later with photo proof. But they're also not cheap cheap anymore ($60-100) which doesn't help if you lose them.
I've landed on WMP ($40) for now but would still like to see a cheaper option. Like something from Goodr without the bad mirror tint.
