Amazingly restored 1889 Victorian, check out the gas range in the kitchen. Fuck yeah, too bad my wife said "hell no" to another antique house in Spokane.

Looks like the owners spent the last 3 years renovating; if you scroll down to "Sale and tax history," you can see the listing pics from when it last sold in 2021. Outstanding work.

    Really, really tasteful.
One nit-pick, in what world is that two garage spaces?

Very nice, The house interior and exterior look great. Good price in my mind. Would highly consider it if I’m in that market location.
    …still not quite local

It says the second spot is "under home"... looks pretty tight but maybe a miata could make it. Those tiny spots are fairly standard here in WA- hardly anyone can actually fit a car in their garage in Seattle.

I like it a lot- I'd live there for sure. It's not perfect but you couldn't even get the 'my first time tiling' bathroom and basic kitchen alone for under $350k worth of remodeling in my neck of the woods.

Ha! Literally my first thought on those pics. Super cool house otherwise.

I don't know anything about the buyer, but assuming they aren't from around here. The house isn't worth that, and although the York neighborhood really tries, and there are a lot of cool people there, it's also still very heterogeneous.

Oh, is that unwiped grout on the kitchen floor? Sharp eyes!

The pool is pretty nice too. Might want to re-do the salon after I buy it though.

Looks like the lounger is there because it is a two head steam shower. You probably already knew that, though.

That's an awful lot of wasted effort to make a shower for fucking.

Ha, Maz, I saw that yesterday on Zillow and showed that pic to my wife. That shower is something. The house is pretty ugly but it seems like a decent deal but I'd be worried about flooding for sure.

That shower setup suggests to me an unnatural obsession with communal showers such as high school phys ed and team sports. Not that there's anything wrong with it...

I bought an ex swingers house. The master shower looked somewhat similar with multiple handles, shower heads and a chair.

I’m sure I’ve told this story before but the downstairs bath off the kitchen, you know, the kind of place that should be more of a powder room, had a full blown tub jammed into it. We had just redone all the hardwood floors and had the heat blasting for days to help cure them while we were away for days. I walked into that bathroom and it looked at first like a major water leak had covered the floor with water. I took one step into the bathroom, slipped and fell on my ass. The entire floor around that tub was covered in lube. Apparently it had all leeched into the floor and sat for however long in a cold house. After cranking the heat up, it expelled itself. So apparently these folks were doing some massive orgy work in the bathroom near the kitchen as well as the master bath and of course the master bedroom that had been hand painted to look like a castle with gaudy fountains and prancing horses.

LOL, sold in 2022 for $460,000. A quick fluff and buff and they tried to triple their money. Insurance is estimated at $3,000 a year, these people are smoking crack.

Yup. Redfin on one screen, GIS on the other. Truth be told I'm a fan of the shower.
