That is a fucking accomplishment. Jesus, that looks terrifying. I wonder if the other guy is a guy by the same name here in town. I'll ask him when/if I see him.

No words other than, "I am glad he did not die doing what he loved".
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

And on a pair of Head Cyclic's, no less! I retired those skis as "death traps" a couple years ago - shows what I know...

I'm so very happy that he did this and now I don't have to.

I never give that much thought to rock skis. But I am an amateur.

I was in the valley one spring and looked up and there was Cloud's Rest covered in snow. The next day it was completely bare rock. Snow on steep slick granite with the western sun shining on it--no thanks.

I was initially thinking, there's nowhere that I know they can ski the actual half dome on any aspect, as it's steep drop off all around. Then I read the article, '...skied the iconic shoulder of Half Dome'. Shoulder.
Even though it was not what I was thinking at first, yet it is still bad ass.

meh.. saving my enthusiasm for "El cap the Nose skied switch to the meadow" head line
[crazy... especially the climber guy would just sort of decided to ski it on a whim!]
