Elon Musk: Smartest Guy in The World or Complete Clown?

At some point Tesla just needs to rip off the bandaid and get out of this corporate hostage situation, otherwise they won’t be around for long.

Kick his ass out the door, pay him half of his share value citing the damage he’s done to the company, and let him battle it out in court for the next 5 years. If you lose you go under and if you keep this dipshit around it’s the same result, so fuck it. You can’t extract money that doesn’t exist.

Agreed. But alas, Tesla owes nothing to interns. Great opportunity, sure, but not a priority.

Engineering internships are a recruiting tool. You sort through a pile of resumes, pick the best, then get to test them for a summer/semester with no obligation. And pretty cheap (Tesla was paying like $30/hr). The big advantage Musk brought was being able to recruit talent and work their asses off. If he’s giving up he’s done, he just has dumb uninvested simps who believe his bullshit.

your dumb fuck Elon just wants his huge paycheck that he was supposed to get for being involved, which he clearly wasn’t, and neither were the morons on the BOD

Skied this week with an engineer who had been with Tesla for 17 years. Fired 40% of his group.

Real good skier. We mostly talked about the house he had purchased in Japan.

Fanboy gets his finger broken by his cybertruck while trying to prove that clearly the Tesla engineers would never allow such a thing to happen:

Idiot even proceeded with the test after the car broke a stick in half...

I'm up to seeing about 7 of these things in the wild and they make me laugh out loud every time. It's like seeing a DeLorean back in the day.

Yeah. Delorean was designed by on of the most influential automotive designers of all time:

    Cybertruck designer is no Giugiaro.

Just saw a bunch of these at the dealership in Colorado Springs. They look even more ridiculous in person than in the pics. You have to be a total fucking moron to buy something I designed in 2nd grade art class.

Well, personally never a fan, but that's what the current crop of cybertruck fans are saying now. It's all a personal opinion. And John DeLoean is probably considered a douche by many also.

A buddy of mine at the time had a DeLorean (a few years old). I remember it being futuristic and cool. I don't remember it having some basic design flaws (sharp edges, rust etc). Not convinced the comparison is valid.

My dad had a delorean a few (well, like 15 I guess) years ago, and it was super neat. Cyber truck looks like a literal joke.
