    Your cat likes cardboard boxes?
Utah cat found in Amazon warehouse a week after sneaking into a return box

Unrelated obs; That woman looks pretty typical SLC.

That Amazon story is crazy. Heard it on the radio.

Seemed that shelters were filling a bit more. Couple of them around here want to do home visits and will only adopt in pairs. Which ironically…

I ended up bringing two home. Went to scope a Craig’s of two boys remaining. Got there to learn the woman had two unneutered males and a female adult cats. These kittens were born half wild in the crawlspace to be found about 3 weeks old. The one grey boy was perfectly sociable when I showed up, and the stripped guy wanted to hide. I had the eternal “are these the right cats for us debate” but then I leaned the person was moving within the week, and I was like oh these guys are getting dumped if they don’t come home.

They both are sick. Taking to the vet today.

First trip to vet. Grey is a female. I didn’t even bother double checking the woman, but I should have; don’t believe a word she said now, so we will start fresh with vaccines after they get over the upper respiratory infection.

Litter robot ordered. Names given. Thanks for the congrats folks. It’s going to work out well. Wife is happy. That’s what matters.

Solid work dude. It can be tough starting out the relationship with some vet bills.

Sweet looking little nuggets. Looks like a russian blue and a mackerel tabby. Maybe from the same litter.
Was the overall prognosis good? Did you just save those two from a painful demise? I betcha did.
And they found the bed already...dude, shit's about to change for you a wee bit.

Hope the wife's Yin style is equal to KittiesX2 Yang styles.

    Names?

Francis Grey and Chip Boy. Grey is a lot
Like our old girl. Tabby is still running fever, so that might be why he is extra chill.

Speaking of chill, my year and half old bird dog is not being chill. She has been physically isolated, but when the stare down with her and the Grey, I could tell she wanted to chase. I will have some serious training. She is not to be trusted around them at all yet.

My daughter’s kitty lived to be 24, almost as old as my daughter is. When he passed, she shipped is body off to be cleaned of flesh and have his bones reconnected. It’s been a fascinating experience. Not for everyone, but she takes some solace in it.
