    He has never meowed. He purrs and makes those clicking sounds when he sees a bird outside but never meowed. He's also not keen on new people.

    We found this out when he was a kitten and we had some contractors over. He disappeared for hours. We were looking for him all afternoon and getting pretty frantic. Started looking outside and going back through rooms we had already checked three times. I eventually heard a small thud behind the washing machine - he had jumped down behind it but couldn't get himself out.

    He also got locked in rooms when people close the door behind them. His life would be a lot easier if he spoke up a little.

    Our 12 year old tabby had laryngitis recently, last over 6 months. We ended up taking her to the vet, couldn't find anything wrong. A month or so later, her voice came back.

    GG at the vet today. Getting her ready for boarding (at the same vets office) while I go west with my IKON.

    Routine stuff, annual physical, 2 shots, distemper and rabies booster.

    Vet says she is very healthy and he is happy with her weight loss program.

    The folding desk on the heater is prime real estate in our house. Heater+window+perch=kitty heaven!

    Also, I never catch these guys looking at the camera like this.

    Of course a few seconds after this photo they were swiping at each other from tier to tier. Brothers.
